Refund policy
At N9 BIOTECH, we provide high-purity peptides strictly for laboratory research. Due to the highly sensitive, perishable, and specialist nature of these compounds, our policy is designed to protect the integrity of the scientific supply chain and comply with UK safety standards for research-grade materials.
1. "All Sales Final" Policy
In accordance with UK Consumer Law (Section 28(1)(n) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), the right to cancel does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
Because peptides require strictly controlled storage environments and are subject to degradation if handled or stored incorrectly, all sales are considered final once the order has been dispatched. We do not accept returns or offer "change of mind" refunds.
2. Research Integrity & Safety
To ensure the safety of our customers and the validity of scientific data, we cannot restock or resell any peptide that has left our controlled environment.
- Chain of Custody: We maintain a strict cold-chain or climate-controlled environment. Once a vial is shipped, the integrity of that peptide is considered "unverifiable" for future use.
- Sterile Seals: Any peptide vial with a broken, tampered, or removed flip-cap is strictly ineligible for any form of credit or replacement.
3. Damaged or Missing Items
We take extreme care in packaging our lyophilised (freeze-dried) vials. However, if your order is physically damaged during transit:
- You must notify us at support@n9biotech.uk within 24 hours of delivery.
- You must provide clear photographic evidence of the damaged vials and the original shipping packaging.
- Upon verification, we will provide a replacement or a store credit.
4. Quality Assurance & Independent Testing
N9 BIOTECH stands by the purity of our products. However, as these are experimental reagents:
- Performance: Refunds will not be issued based on the results of a specific biological assay or chemical analysis. The technical success of the buyer's research is outside the scope of our product warranty.
- Batch Variance: Minor variations in the physical appearance of the lyophilised "cake" (e.g., cracked vs. powdered) do not affect the chemical purity and are not grounds for a refund.
5. Age Verification & Compliance
All purchases are subject to mandatory 18+ age verification via Wallid Pay-by-Bank.
- If an order is cancelled because the purchaser fails age verification or cannot provide proof of research intent, we reserve the right to issue a refund minus any non-refundable transaction fees and administrative costs.
6. Cancellation of Orders
If you need to cancel an order, you must contact us immediately. Once an order has reached the "Dispatched" or "Shipped" status, it can no longer be cancelled or refunded.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds (for damage or shipping errors) are processed via your original payment method. Please allow 3-5 business days for bank processing times to reflect in your account.
